Paris the city of lights...

Upon our arrival in Paris, we were faced with the hustle and bustle of city life. And the weather also seems not welcoming us on the first day! So, we only had a dinner then went to bed very early without experience the night life in this city. (We were staying in Woodstock hostel near to Anvers train station). We were so lucky because the next day was a beautiful shiny day! I first stepped the land of Paris in June, 2008 however it was a day visit before I flew to Mauritania. Yet, my second visit only for 3D 2N. Actually Paris is an amazing city that you really cannot be truly appreciated in a short trip. So, if you plan to visit Paris someday, I would like to suggest you to stay at least a week...
As we have a very limited time we decided to take a tour and we choose THE NEW PARIS FREE TOUR because their expert guides work on a tips-only basis. (Budget lorrrr) You all can check them at http://www.newparistours.com/ . Our tour was guided by George, the coolest and funniest American young man I ever met ;-) Just want to thank him for the great time, we had lots of fun! Wish you all the best in your study man..
Within the 4 hours walking tour, I think we have covers all the main historic sites of central Paris such as: Notre Dame de Paris, The Louvre,Palais Royal, Haussmann's Renovations, Eiffel Tower, Tuileries Gardens, Musée d'Orsay, Arc de Triomphe, Place de la Concorde etc. Let me share some pictures with you here..

Too much to see, too litle time! (Barcelona)

It all begins after I read this Lonely Planet travel book.
After dreaming of going Europe months before, Lulu and I decided to go for a great adventure in some part of Europe (27 Sept – 12 Oct). We started our adventures in Barcelona where Lulu and I were spent 5D 4N and it was a fantastic wonderful experience. We have reached Barcelona around 5.01 pm by easyJet from London and were greeted in the bus on our way to La Rambla by a young good looking Spanish (local). I still wondered how he knew that Lulu and I are from Malaysia until today. Bukan dia paham pun bahasa melayu hehe We were staying in Barcelona Mar hostel, only 5 minutes walk to La Rambla. It is cheap and clean hostel with a friendly nice staff but just unluckily me because I didn't t sleep for the first two nights. My neighbours were snoring like hell! Not only one, but there were three of them… TAK TAHAN!

The uniquely Spanish charm of Barcelona is hardly to forget! I think Barcelona is a great place in Spain that you could visit again and again and not get tired of it. Although it is a big town, it is not difficult to get orientated and move around the different areas. I just love the "Barrio Gotico" and the views from the top of Montjuic…We have visited a lot of beautiful places such as Barri Gotic, Gaudi & La Sagrada Familia with numbers of Casa, Montjuic, Montserrat (a day visit) and a lot more but I only can share with you some of the pictures at below...

Besides the great culture, foods and beverage are also so nice! One of the tastiest culinary traditions in Spain is tapas. Tapas are small dishes meant to be served in conjunction with alcohol. Tapas are very tasty however they only last about three four bites (Well, I have big appetite!!). The price is also reasonable. The city streets are lined with tapas bars, but now I feel a little bit regret because we only ate tapas on our last day in Barcelona . Rugi wooo

So after five days experience the Spanish culture, we headed to Paris…

It's weekend!!

It's weekend and Saturday is always be my favourite day! I can choose whether to relax lazying at my sweet home after hectic weekdays or going out and having fun with my friends or do spare shopping!! Usually my eyes just can’t stop rolling if I see that 50% - 70% discounts sign hahaha (heeeeiii I am just like a normal lady who loves shopping or window shopping if dah sengkek hihi…) SALE is coming back again because Malaysian will celebrate Raya festive in 2 weeks time. Most of the enormous shopping mall in KL are offering their good stuffs with reasonable price and great discount!!! But for this weekend I think I prefer to stay at home to put off myself from shopping cos’ I’ll go for Europe end of this month and surely that vacation will cost me lot of cash…I still couldn’t believe that I’m gonna spend my 3 years saving for just 14 days. I wish if someone out there who is really really rich and don't know what to do with their money willing to fund my vacation. (Kalaulah ada lelaki kaya yang mo sponsor saya opppps!!!!ni macam ada tanduk mo tumbuh di kepala saya ni hihihi) i'm kidding! ;-p …

P/s: I wish all of you have a good happy weekend!

Pic: Very rare chance to capture….! Maybe it was really a smile from God…

Reading as a hobby!

I personally like to read books, especially motivation or self-enrichment, travelling and gardening books. Reading is one of my hobbies now since 5 years back after I finished my study in university. It may seem strange for some people because perhaps they think that I should be started from my very young age. Actually I’m a type of outdoor person and to me reading is boring and not cool. (TAK ROCK LAH BEB BACA BUKU!! Eeeii you looks so NERD!! SKEMA! saya malassssssssss bah baca buku ni....all this so typical Malaysian huh!! Sorry if my words insult you..) However it is so different now, books are now become one of my best friend cos’ some of my friends already get married, busy with their new life or has move to somewhere else. Well, I just finished reading Men Are from Mars, Women are from Venus by John Gray. This book is a practical guide for those who wants to understand Male-Female relationship. But sorry no review here as I rarely reviews a book that I have read, actually my English writing is sucks. However, I strongly recommend this book if you want to improve your communication to get what you want in your relationship. You will not regret after read this one!

I have bought 4 books yesterday for my personal collection and I would be happy if you want to make use of them from me...boleh pinjam bah..

Well, reading stimulates your mind. If you do not like reading, do it anyway until you learn to love reading. You can read different types of books to see which genre of books are most interesting to you. I believe books can make you see the world differently; they can make you understand things more fully and wholly. They even can change your paradigm! Ehh! membebel pulak dah...OKlah, that's all I have for now, enjoy your weekend aah! Chow Chin Chow...

what a boring day!

This has been a very boring week for me and yet today I have locked myself in my apartment the whole day. Actually it’s raining outside and I prefer to sleep at home lazying myself. (ZZZZzzzzz..!!) Boring stay at home after doing my spring cleaning, I got into my store room and dig out all my stuff that never been touched for a year! I had unpacked them from my dusty box and I found one CD that contains some of my old pictures. It reminds me about my life before I entered a hectic working life…

No wonder it was raining! hehe

My sister ugut me...(sebab saya malas mengetam hehe)

I really want to get back to my shape...but I just can't do it...damn!!!

Just For Laugh

After I have done my Saturday morning routine, I've checked my email and you guess what…I received this funny email from my housemate. Let me share them with you here. I'm not so sure whether it is right or wrong but this is how they play with the words.

Believe it or not.
Woman has Man in it;
Mrs. Has Mr . in it;
Female has Male in it;
She has He in it;
Madam has Adam in it;
No wonder men always want to be inside women!!!

Men were born between the legs of a woman, yet men spend all their life and time trying to go back between the legs of a woman.... Why?
BECAUSE THERE IS NO PLACE LIKE HOME

Okay, Okay, it all makes sense now... I never looked at it this way before: Ever notice how all of women's problems start with MEN?

MENtal illness
MENstrual cramps
MENtal breakdown
MENopause
GUYnecologist
AND ...
When we have REAL trouble, it's a HISterectomy.

So, what do you think?? hahaha to me, this is only a joke...generally speaking, male and female need each other in this life. It doesn't matter whether you are male or female because you are so special in someone life’s!
Have a good day, guys!!! :-)

Maintaining your healthy life style!

I think a combination of healthy eating habit, regular exercise, and work hard will help maintain a healthy body and mind. A healthy life style is an important part of feeling good about yourself. My housemate and I have joined the Pocho-Pocho dance organised by our company after working today. We were enjoyed that session for only one reason, to keep our body fit! I really like “nasi lemak” and believe me I had it at least 4 times a week! But recently I started calling it a fattening rice since my close friends keep joking about my double fools deposits (my tummy la hehe only geologist like me understand this) helllooo aunty!! Being fat is NOT a crime ok??… :-p hehehe but have to agree with my friends now…yala want to maintain healthy lifestyle mah…

Somehow, maintaining a healthy diet and lifestyle on a budget can be a challenge!! So-called "health food" always costs you far more than ordinary snacks, and gym memberships are often stacked with hidden fees and other expenses that can drain your wallet. Don’t worry; here are my tips for maintaining good health without spending too much:

1. There's no need to pay for a gym membership if you can't afford it! (like me huhuhu) When the weather is nice outside, I prefer to sneak my daily 30 minutes of cardio activity by taking a brisk walk outside. KLCC Park would be a nice place to go, boleh cuci mata…but have to discipline lah.
2. Do regular Window Shopping…but please leave your petty cash and credit card in the office so you will not tempted to buy things.
3. Ask yourself whether you want to live longer or die earlier…the choose is yours hehe

To maintain a healthy lifestyle, you can help reduce your healthy problem risk. Again, tips:

1. Eat a healthy diet, including plenty of whole grains, fruits and vegetables.
2. Limit intake of red meat, saturated fats, smoked and salt-cured foods, and foods preserved with nitrates.
3. Get regular exercise of 30 minutes or more at least five days a week.
4. Maintain a healthy body weight. BMI should in a range of 20-25!
5. If you drink alcohol, do so in moderation. Jangan terlebih sudah!
6. Wear sunscreen and avoid prolonged exposure to direct sun during the hot sunny midday.
7. Get a high quality sleep. Tidur awal bei ;-)
8. Always be POSITIVE in everthing you do.

I think that’s enough for today. Wanna go bed early tonight to prepare myself for a better tomorrow as mentioned in tip lucky no. 7. Good nite!

Do things happen for a reason?

Sometimes people come into your life and you know right away that they were meant to be there... to serve some sort of purpose, teach you a lesson or help figure out who you are or who you want to become. You never know who are these people may be but when you look eyes with them, you know that every moment that you are with them, they will affect your life in some profound way. And sometimes things happen to you at the time that may seem horrible, painful and unfair, but in reflection you realize that without overcoming those obstacles you would have never realized your potential, strength, will power or heart.
Everything happens for a reason! Nothing happens by chance or by means of good luck. Illness, injury, love, lost moments of true greatness and sheer stupidity all occur to test the limits of your soul. Without these small tests, life would be like a smoothly paved, straight, flat road to nowhere, safe and comfortable but dull and utterly pointless.
The successes and downfalls that you experience can create who you are, and the bad experiences can be learned from.... In fact, they are probably the most poignant and important ones. If someone hurts you, betrays you or breaks your heart, forgive them because they have helped you learn about trust and the importance of being cautious to whom you open your heart. If someone loves you, love them back unconditionally not only because they love you, but also because they are teaching you to love and open your heart and eyes to little things. So, create your own life then LET GO and LIVE IT…yeah!!

I personally believe that God can and does work His purposes through events we might see as random; but on the other hand I believe that one of God's highest purposes is to allow as much freedom as possible to His creation, especially His more sentient creatures. It's a paradox to me, but God might be resolving that paradox in a way that I can't understand. St. Paul said that "all things work together for good to them that love God" ( Rom 8:28 )
I may just not smart enough sometime to understand how...
